Financial Accountability

Impact for Life Ministries is volunteer and donor dependent. Therefore, we feel a deep and personal commitment to all sponsors, supporters, and partners who join hands with us to reach out to incarcerated men, women, and juveniles and their children with the loving message of Christ. We recognize that it is only through Christ that all of us can unite together to spread the message of the Gospel and transform lives through Him. We take seriously our responsibility to maintain the highest level of integrity in our financial practices. We fulfill our commitment by adhering to the following practices and principles:

As proclaimed in our Statement of Faith we clearly affirm our passion to serve Christ in every aspect of our ministry work. We humbly serve Him by reaching out to the incarcerated and their children with the singular objective to glorify Him.
We are governed by a responsible Board of Directors who meets regularly to approve budgets and review ministry accomplishments.
Our financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Copies of our current financial statements are available upon request.
As servants of God, we believe that only He can spark the flame of compassion in the hearts of those that feel called to support our ministry with sponsorships and/or volunteer commitments. Therefore, we practice only ethical fund-raising and volunteer recruitment practices. The purpose of every sponsorship level is clearly identified and offerings collected are always designated to those specific outreach programs. If and when contributions received exceed the immediate need, surplus funds are used to meet a similar need that God has presented to the ministry.
Impact for Life Ministries is a non-profit 501 C-3 organization as recognized by law. Contributions to the ministry are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Donors receive an annual receipt verifying their total donation for their own tax purposes.
We believe and practice fiscal responsibility in respect to all sponsors, donors, supporters and Christ. The ministry returns 85% of contributions received to fund ongoing ministry programs that sustain and grow outreach efforts that meet the needs God presents to us.
Out of respect for the privacy of each individual donor, we adhere to a privacy policy and do not sell or rent any information contained within our mailing, donor, volunteer, or recipient list to any outside groups. We uphold and maintain strict security on all data and information we maintain. For anyone that does share their support with our ministry, we communicate to them only the information they have designated they desire to receive and in the form and frequency they choose. Any requests to change or cease previously requested communications are promptly corrected.
