Mel Goebel, Founder and President of Impact for Life Ministries, has ministered in prisons since 1976. He worked with Chuck Colson at Prison Fellowship for 20 years and continues to speak for Prison Fellowship and partners with them on the Operation Starting Line outreach.

He speaks regularly at both Christian and secular events, inside and outside of prisons. Mel is passionate about bringing inmates into a life-long personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He continues to personally minister to inmates throughout the U.S. speaking and inspiring them with his story of pain and healing transformation.

Selfless Love: Mel also delivers a compelling message that will challenge husbands and wives into a deeper relationship of intimacy and love. Jane, his wife of 30 years, has suffered from Multiple Sclerosis for two decades.

The Unseen Presence, is the story of Mel’s journey from prison to freedom through Christ. Comfort for the Journey, is Jane’s story of her personal journey marked by years of anguish and suffering and the pockets of comfort she discovers in a power beyond herself.
