Deanna is a passionate encourager who has been referred to as “a light, a spark plug, and a breath of fresh air.” Her background, life lessons, and recovery experience give her a unique perspective and remarkable voice to speak to the hearts of the hurting, broken, or anyone who desires to dig deeper in their faith.
One of her many passions is to speak at women’s conferences, retreats, youth events, and any other place where people desire to reach out to Christ and make a miraculous transformation in their lives. Deanna is a motivational speaker who inspires and encourages her audience while she challenges them to be all God created them to be.
Deanna is the author of Pathway to Serenity and The Son is Shining, and contributes to several newsletters and publications; she enjoys writing articles that encourage everyone to reach deep down and be spiritually challenged. Deanna’s greatest passion is in serving Christ through individual ministry, discipleship, and leadership development. As a National Speaker for Daughters of Destiny, Deanna speaks at Evangelistic Crusades at women’s facilities and shares her testimony of coming to the Lord after years of drug, sexual, physical, and mental abuse.
Daughters of Destiny is a full-circle ministry dedicated to walking the spiritual journey with incarcerated women and teen girls as well as nurturing their path in Christ when released. “Personal commitment is necessary if a Daughters’ introduction to a loving Savior, Jesus Christ, is to be more than an emotional experience they encounter at some event while incarcerated. They must have a life changing experience and be provided the tools necessary to grow in their new relationship with Christ. They must have such a deep transformation occur that they will be a new creation when they make their transition home. This is what the full-circle ministry provides and what most distinguishes Daughters of Destiny from all other prison ministries.” says Deanna.
By teaching and demonstrating the incredible love of God and the message of the Gospel, Deanna lives a life of purpose and serves to be a witness to His love to reach the lonely, His hope to reach the hopeless, His light to pierce their darkness, and His abundance to fill the empty.
