Welcome to Daughters of Destiny in Western South Dakota

There are approximately 500 women currently incarcerated in the State Women’s Prison and jails across South Dakota. Every one of these women has a story.  Each one has a journey of pain and confusion that brought them to the place they are today. Many of them feel hopeless and lost, not sure how to change or if they can. The goal of Daughters of Destiny Women’s prison ministry is to reach and disciple every woman and teen girl across our state and the nation through The Daughters Journal, Daughters Crusades, Seminars and Life Groups, and on-going support upon release through the Daughters Network.

We offer each woman a new life fully transformed through Christ-centered relationships and biblical truth; exchanging the lies of being unloved, rejected, and full of shame and condemnation, feeling totally alone, with the truth of God’s word bringing healing and love. Renewing of the mind with the truth of the word will not change the past for these women, but it will give them hope and wisdom for the future.
